i’ve made a cartoon sushi torrent, its up at myspleen. email me for an invite, patriotact@gmail.com
but i’d really like to find a complete collection. i havent seen any bootleg dvds anywhere on ebay etc. if you can help me with the cartoon sushi collection email me ( patriotact@gmail.com ) or leave a comment.
next i’ll watch all of the cartoon sushi credits i have and try to locate all of the directors/animators online and then try their websites and email each one of them. seems like a lot of trouble.

I used to love this show. I have hunted high and low for torrents etc and have only found the two you mentioned. Let me know if you make a Cartoon Sushi torrent.

I’ve been on a search for Cartoon Sushi and Liquid television short animations. I’m not having much luck.
The ones I remember that cannot find, and I dont know the names of are:
The naked man who is chained to a rock and he has to drag it. He is always in search of water. The rock makes fun of him and annoys him. (?)
An old woman who has a cat. In one clip is feeding it condensed milk and wonders why it’s not getting any bigger. (?)
A middle eastern man? I dont really remember what he was doing on anything.
It’s almost impossible finding this stuff. Do you remember the names of these shorts, maybe?

Wow, I’m glad to see I left a little legacy here…I ripped these 2 episodes from an old tape I just happen to pop in the VCR on MTV’s Animation Sunday, and these 2 happen to air that afternoon….I’ve never found any more episodes other than these two, wish I had more to offer!

I’m really interested in this Cartoon Sushi project. I was pretty young when MTV aired these cortos in Italy, so I’d like to see them once again. :)
And then they reminds me the old, real and rebel MTV!!

I am going fucking BONKERS over this – was there a music video on Cartoon Sushi (or around that time of 1997-1998) where a guy cuts off his arms and legs with a chainsaw and then is wrapped in a blanket in a tree – limbless – and is fed by a bird?
PLEASE HELP ME ON THIS.

The episode about the lady and the cat and the indian guy is the indian guy farts and the the old lady is like “damn puss puss” so he thinks he’s getting away with it cuz he thinks the old lady is blaming the cat. Oh god I love cartoon sushi I wish i could find stuff to dl too..=[

for the love of the internet, please post this torrent anyway. completionists are dumb and get stones thrown at them, I think everyone would much rather have a small, unorganized collection of this show to remember a wonderful decade than have no collection at all.
really, i’d pay you for a bootleg dvd of all those and post the torrent myself, this show must be opened up to the net.

Alex – Only ten weeks late, but I’ve just found this post while looking for, yes, episodes of Cartoon Sushi. Anyway, the video you’re thinking of wasn’t (as far as I know) part of Cartoon Sushi, but rather in a pop video featuring one of the characters from it, namely Robin in Radiohead’s Paranoid Android. The bit you’re thinking of is usually cut out of the modern day MTV broadcasts, which is why you may only have distant memories of it, but you can see the video in full here: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=r8asQsfn82E
